Clayton headed to Argentina in April

Sophomore Willie Clayton, last year’s Times-Enterprise player of the year, will travel with a U.S. National team in April to Argentina to compete in a 17-and-under tournament.

Arthur Ashley 2010 (1st Presperterian Baptist Ministries, Hinesville) 6-foot-6 wing that can put the ball on the floor and finish above the rim.  Ashley can play the 2 or the 3 at the next level because he can handle the ball in transition against pressure.  He is a very skilled player with a smooth shooting stroke with range beyond the arc.

Middle School Watch

kayla_smith902015 Kayla Smith of Fayette County Middle,  at 5'10 was quickly moved up to the 8th grade team after avg 23 ppg. Smith runs the floor well for her size and has a nice touch from 15 ft. Solid student with a 4.5 GPA.
rashad_bellsm2014 - Shadell Bell of Columbia Middle, 6-foot-3 athletic wing forward can get it done in the paint and from the perimeter.  Has good bounce and rebounds his position.
2014 - Brianna Williams of Pickneyville Middle, 5-foot-2 point guard works hard on both ends of the floor.  Good defender and hustles on the floor to make plays.
2014 Jarvis Canty of Columbia Middle,  a heady point guard that controls the game.  Canty has a high basketball IQ, distributes the ball to teammates in scoring postion and is a solid defender.
Tot  Dardin of Valley, AL,  has great vision and plays with poist. Scores at will but knows how to facilitate to others for scoring. Physically mature and already playing varsity as an eight grader.
